Desirable qualifications

- Mechanical or biosystems engineer (EIT or P.Eng) an asset but not essential

- Ag experience

- Aptitude for customer service/support

- CAD modelling experience

- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as Fusion 360

- Good team player, collaborative and individual project work

- Organized, high level of integrity and professionalism

‍Job Description/Responsibilities
- Project management
- Design discernment through consultation with customer
- Proposal/budget/quote/documentation on projects
- Develop and engineer new equipment
- Source components, place orders, and conduct follow up if required; Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to maximize service and value
- Prepare Operator’s Manuals when required
- Oversight of fabrication and assembly toward completion dates for multiple projects
- Quality control
- May be required to provide labor on shop floor to help meet delivery deadlines
- Provide support to the customer and product; Support customers with equipment challenges
